Security and data protection

Carriers trust us with their loads, rates and driver details, and partners trust us with their data. This page explains how we protect it.

Approved connections only

Areen Fleet connects to load boards, brokers and ELD providers only through their official APIs and partner programs. We never scrape websites and never automate a carrier's login to a third-party service. Each carrier authorizes its own connections and can disconnect them at any time.

Owner approval

No offer, bid or booking is sent to a broker without the carrier owner's approval.

Protecting data

• All traffic is encrypted in transit with HTTPS (TLS).
• Stored secrets such as API keys and access tokens are encrypted at rest.
• Each carrier can see only its own data.
• Servers are hosted in a U.S. data center with a firewall, automatic security updates and intrusion blocking.
• Nightly backups are kept for 14 days.
• Staff access is limited to people who need it to run the service.

Partner data

Data received from partners is used only to provide the service to the carrier who connected it. We do not resell, share or republish partner data, and we follow each partner's terms on display and storage.

Carrier vetting

Carriers are checked against FMCSA data before approval and daily after, including authority status, insurance, safety rating and out-of-service rates. High-risk carriers are blocked.
